![]() Like, I imagine the following conversation between monsters when it happens. I guess I just don't understand why people would play a game mode that is supposed to be nigh impossible to do without dying, and then cheat death when it comes. Even then I'll still play it knowing I will most likely lose. ![]() The vast majority of the time I lose (I've only won 5 times in total in the 1500hrs I have in the game) as it's stupid difficult and sometimes the map you roll is virtually impossible to win. ![]() You shouldn't be able to beat Hell on your first HC character or even your 20th without a good bit of luck and blessings from RNGesus.įor perspective I play They Are Billions on max (900%) difficulty with no rerolls. Well yeah, HC isn't supposed to be as easy as SC. The responses I got to a comment I made on a different post were basically telling me "it's too difficult to do without it". Is it just me or does using save/quit to avoid a death or reroll a gloam map (for example) miss the point of HC? The only difference between HC and SC is permadeath, so why use save/quit to avoid what makes HC, HC? If you run HC and use save/quit to avoid death, and you're triggered by some random, insignificant person on the internet saying it shouldn't be done that way, read no further unless you feel like having a reasoned discussion about it.
